At Hidden Hollow Farm we specialize in Horseback Riding Lessons, Pony Birthday Parties, Summer Horsemanship Program (formerly Summer Riding Camp), and Trail Riding. Hidden Hollow Farm is also available for Location Filming and Photo Shoots. We are a historic, agricultural, organic family farm of 18 acres located on the Pembroke, Duxbury line—just minutes off of Route 3.

We are dedicated to teaching riding from the ground up. Starting with leading, grooming, saddling and riding in balanced hunt seat and dressage disciplines. We want our students to be comfortable around a horse, and being the best equine partner they can be.

Horseback Riding Lessons South Shore Boston

Hunt Seat Equitation, Dressage, Learn to Ride

You’ll love our well-trained horses and ponies. We offer private, semi-private, and group lessons. We’ll start with leading, grooming, saddling; and work on stopping and steering on the horse. Once proficient, we’ll move on to trotting, cantering, jumping, and dressage.

Our 8 week lesson program is perfect for the adult or child that wants to come once a week.

We have:

  • A 100×200 sand Jumping arena
  • A Small regulation Dressage arena
  • Miles of trails

Summer Horsemanship Program

We offer full and half-day programs for ages 5 and up. We have miniature horses and small ponies who are perfect for younger children. For older and more proficient riders, we have some talented jumping horses. Along with learning to ride, we also teach horse anatomy, parts of the saddle/bridle, horse care and feeding, and play lot’s of quiz games and games on horseback too. With crafts, fitness, hiking, and yoga we have an awesome time on the farm!

Pony Parties

Be awesome on a Pony. Come and celebrate your birthday or other event at Hidden Hollow Farm. We have super cute and kind miniature horses and ponies. We brush, sparkle, ribbon, and ride! We have an indoor barn as well as an outdoor party tent, which we can decorate for you, to your color scheme. Some popular themes include Unicorn Birthday Parties, Cowboy Birthday Parties, Princess Birthday Parties.

Our kind equine partners and staff can help through emotional and stressful times. We’ve worked with adults, children, vets, first responders, and highly functioning special needs.

Trail Riding

Friendship is waiting for you at the barn.

Be awesome out in the woods on a horse!!! We will get acquainted with our mounts, brush, saddle, and head off to the riding arena. There we work on stopping and steering till you’re comfortable, then we head off onto an adventure. Children as young as 6 are welcome.
